Plenty of companies host their email on their own server. InboxBriefs connects over IMAP and hands you what matters, ranked, every morning.
Not every inbox lives at a cloud giant. Self-hosted Exchange, Postfix, Zimbra, Horde, a host's or a company's server: if your inbox speaks the IMAP protocol, InboxBriefs can read it. You connect your address and password, we detect the server address automatically, and you get the same prioritized digest as Gmail or Outlook: urgent, important, FYI.

How InboxBriefs summarizes your company inbox
Automatic server detection
You only enter your address and password. InboxBriefs tries to autodiscover the server (Mozilla ISPDB database, autoconfig, DNS records, host conventions) and only asks for the server address if nothing answers. No need to know the technical details.
Password encrypted at rest
Your IMAP password is encrypted with AES-256-GCM, using the same key as OAuth tokens, never stored in clear text. The connection is used only to read your emails to build the summary: no sending, no deleting, no modifying.
The same digest as every other provider
Once connected, your company inbox gets exactly the same treatment: urgent, important and FYI sorting, spam-folder scan, priority rules, agenda and chatbot. You can combine it with Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo inboxes.

Which servers are supported?+
Any server that exposes the IMAP protocol: self-hosted Exchange, Postfix, Dovecot, Zimbra, Horde, or the mailbox your host provides. If your webmail runs on IMAP (it almost always does), InboxBriefs can connect to it.
Why a password and not an OAuth sign-in?+
A private server doesn't expose a “sign in with…” button like Google or Microsoft. IMAP with a password is the universal standard for company email. Your password is encrypted at rest and only used for reading. Tip: if your server offers a dedicated app password, use it.
Does my data stay private?+
Yes. We read your emails to build the summary, then forget them: only the summary is kept, itself encrypted at rest. Your password and summaries are unreadable without the app's encryption key.
