Company shared inbox: the whole team's workspace

A shared inbox doesn't have to be “contact@”: it's any inbox several people need to follow together.

We often picture a shared inbox as a role address - contact@, support@, billing@. In reality, a shared inbox is any inbox several people need to follow: the company's main inbox, an executive's address relayed by an assistant, or a plain ordinary address a whole team depends on. InboxBriefs turns it into a shared workspace: a prioritized daily summary, a common agenda, assignable tasks and clear roles - all without ever exposing anyone's personal email.

What breaks in a many-hands inbox

How InboxBriefs transforms the shared inbox

Any inbox becomes a shared space

Connect read-only the inbox the team needs to follow - role address or ordinary mailbox. No need to share the password between colleagues: everyone gets their own access to the space.

A prioritized daily summary

The shared inbox gets its daily summary - urgent, important, FYI - visible to the whole team, at the space's hour and timezone.

Tasks, an agenda and roles

Requests become assignable tasks, dates become events in a common agenda, and the admin delegates fine-grained permissions (invite, remove, manage mailboxes).

Personal stays private

The space only sees the shared mailboxes connected to it. Members' personal inboxes stay strictly private - a structural separation, not a setting.

Frequently asked questions

Do we have to share the mailbox password?+

No. The admin connects the mailbox once (OAuth for Gmail/Outlook/Yahoo, or encrypted credentials for a private IMAP server). Each member then accesses the space with their own account - no password is shared between colleagues.

Is it only for role addresses like contact@?+

No. Any inbox can become a shared inbox: the company's main inbox, an ordinary address, as soon as several people need to follow it.

Can InboxBriefs reply or act on the inbox?+

No. Access is read-only: InboxBriefs summarizes and organizes, but never sends, deletes or edits an email.

How much does a space cost?+

The Team & Enterprise plan is per space, not per seat: one space covers up to 25 members and 10 shared mailboxes.

Your company inbox deserves better than a shared password. Create a space, connect it and give the whole team the same clear picture.
