Templates and automations written by the assistant
Start from a ready-made template, or describe the automation in one sentence: the assistant builds the cards and asks what's missing.
Updated November 4, 2026
Start from a template
- Open Automations: the templates are under Start from a template, at the bottom of the My automations tab.
- Pick a template: its cards fill in, ready to adjust.
- Change what needs changing (the channel, the person, the time), then click Activate.
Today's templates: Invoices to pay, Welcoming a new hire, Task completed: tell the team, Monday check-in, Announced absences, Research every new task, Today's summary in the chat. Those that need the chat or members are offered in teams only.
Describe it to the assistant
- At the top of Automations, write what you want, as you'd tell a colleague, then click Build with AI.
- If a detail is missing, the assistant asks with choices to click.
- It shows the cards and what each AI step costs. Click Activate, or Not now to keep it as a draft.
In the editor, Add then Describe it to the assistant changes a card in your own words. Each exchange with the assistant to write an automation costs one AI credit.
When the assistant suggests it
The assistant notices what you keep doing: the same priority, a task every Monday, the same owner for one kind of request. It tells you in its questions, with the Automate button.
