For a mailbox that is neither Gmail nor Outlook: your address and an app password are enough, the server is detected.

What you'll need
- The mailbox's address and its password — ideally an “app password”.
- That your provider allows IMAP access (almost all do).
Connect the mailbox
Step 1 of 5
- In the side menu, open Integrations, then pick IMAP in the Email section.
- Click Connect, keep Personal, then click Continue with IMAP.
- On Connect a company inbox, enter your Email address.
- Enter the Password. If your provider offers an “app password”, use it instead of your main password.
- Click Connect. After Verifying…, the mailbox is connected.
If the server isn't found
The server is detected from your address. If it isn't, open Advanced (server) settings and copy what your provider gives:
- IMAP server: for example imap.your-domain.com.
- Port and Security: TLS (993) in most cases, otherwise STARTTLS (143).
iCloud, Yahoo, Fastmail and many providers require an app password: create it in your account's security settings with them, then paste it here.
What happens to the password
It is encrypted (AES-256) and only used to read the mailbox, read-only. To remove it, disconnect the mailbox: see Security and privacy.
