Reconnect a mailbox
When access to a mailbox is interrupted, its summaries pause. Two clicks are enough to reconnect it.

Why a mailbox gets disconnected
Google, Microsoft or your IMAP server can withdraw the access: password changed, access revoked from your account, app password deleted. InboxBriefs no longer reads the mailbox and its summaries pause until you reconnect it.
Reconnect
Step 1 of 4
- On the dashboard, the Inbox reconnection required banner names the mailbox. Click it.
- Or: in Integrations, open the mailbox; its row says Reconnection required, summaries paused. Click Reconnect.
- Gmail and Outlook: accept read-only access again. IMAP: enter the new password on Reconnect inbox, then Connect.
- The mailbox is Connected again; summaries resume with the next send.
Still not working
- Check that you pick the same Google or Microsoft account as the mailbox shown.
- For an IMAP mailbox, create a new app password with your provider and paste it.
- Otherwise, disconnect the mailbox and connect it again.
