Steer the sorting with your instructions
One sentence is enough to say what matters: your instructions guide the summary's priorities and can create tasks.

Add an instruction
Step 1 of 4
- In the side menu, open Preferences, then Instructions.
- Click Add an instruction.
- Give it a short Title.
- Write the Instruction the way you would say it to someone, then click Add instruction.
Examples that work
- “Prioritize emails from my team and direct clients.”
- “Ignore promotions, newsletters and automatic notifications.”
- “If the email is about an invoice, create a task to pay it.”
- “Surface emails that propose or confirm an appointment.”
An instruction can prioritize, set aside or create a task. In a team space it can also file into a project and assign a member — only when the name matches a real member: nothing is guessed.
Edit or pause
Each instruction has Edit and Delete; a Disabled instruction stays saved but no longer applies. To go further than sorting (notify a member, change a status…), move on to automations.
