Create a project

Step 1 of 3
  1. Open Projects.
  2. Click New project.
  3. Give it a Name and, if you like, a Description, a Color, a Start, an End and a Status, then Create.

File the tasks

  • Drag a task from one column to another to file it; Unfiled gathers those without a project.
  • On a task, the Project field does the same.
  • The assistant recognises a request's project (same client, same thread, words of the subject) and offers Add to the project, or to create the project that's missing.

What the assistant should know

On the project page, the assistant · Project instructions, then Describe the project: what it's about, Who does what (Lead, Approves, Does the work, Kept informed, Client contact) and your Rules “When… Then…”. The assistant uses it to answer and to share out the work by role.

Put on hold, finish, archive

A project's Status is Active, On hold or Done. Options gives Edit, Archive and Delete. When all its tasks are done, the assistant asks whether to close it.
